Paul Murphy
Creative Director

Paul was born in Belfast and came to England as a singer/songwriter in 1966. A qualified teacher, Paul has been working for 30 years developing and delivering arts projects within and beyond educational establishments, community arts organisations and as an independent writer, musician and artist.

Paul has recently recorded a full length album  -  "the Glen".


Daniel O Connell
Project Manager/Graphic Designer/Drummer

After graduating from UCE with a degree in graphic design,? Daniel spent time touring and releasing two full length albums with his band Farse, who achieved substantial underground success in the UK.

In addition to being a drummer, Dan is a graphic designer and manages many of c21VOX's production projects.


Antonio Gould
Musician / Digital Media Production / Project Manager

After graduating from Birmingham University, Antonio established  3form Ltd., a design and technology agency in Birmingham. 3form are c21Vox's strategic partners for technology.

An expert in digital media, Antonio is also a musician and a DJ and regularly works as music director for c21VOX projects.

Daniel Sturley
Video

After graduating in Media, Daniel has worked as an editor across the country in the private and broadcast sector, including work for Carlton and JCB. A much sought after collaborater by regional film makers, he is currently working on the short film The Boy Who Loved Trains with Paul Murphy. Daniel also has extensive knowledge of Web-TV and is integral to our web broadcasting projects.

John Humphries
Video/Film Director

After completing his MA in film studies at St. Martins London, John embarked on a world tour documentary with UB40. His films have been screened on television and at festivals in Europe and Japan.

Last year John completed his first short feature, "Chronic". Screened at the Birmingham Film Festival, the piece received considerable critical acclaim. In addition to his lecturing work in Leeds, John is currently developing new scripts and is heavily involved in The Boy Who Loved Trains.

Stef Lewandowski
Designer / Animator / Film maker

Co-founder of 3Form with Antonio Gould who he met while studying at Birmingham University. A cutting edge web designer whose work is drawing international interest.

He is also an experimental electronic musician and VJ and runs his own record label, Type Records with John Twells.

Joseph Potts
Video Director

Emerging filmaker Joe Potts made his directorial debut on Carlton TV's First Cut series. Much sought after as camera man, Joe worked on John Humphrey's short Chronic.

Cameraman

Darren is a freelance self trained cameraman, with particular interest in gritty urban documentary.

Martin Riley
Musical Director

Born in Nottingham, Martin Riley has worked with everyone from The Charlatans to The Leningrad Symphony Orchestra.

An acomplished musician and arranger, He is a tutor in composition at Birmingham Conservatoire and splits his time between Birmingham and London where he is developing some new work of his own.


Joel Murphy
Musician

Born in Holywood, County Down, Joel studied guitar first at the Bangor Rock school where his tutors included the avante gard composer Brian Irvine. After studying Jazz in Newcastle he graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire. He now works as a composer and teacher with a particular emphasis on Special Needs.


Mickey Greaney
Singer/Songwriter

Songwriter, stargazer, prophet and guru. Considered by many to be the best songwriter to emerge from the region in the past decade. Micky is currently working on his long awaited follow up to his much aclaimed debut album Little Symphonies for the Kids.


Jo Hamilton
Singer/Songwriter

Jo Hamilton's album Palace Place has drawn considerable critical aclaim. A graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire she also writes musical scores as well as her own songs. Some of these works have been performed across Europe.


Rich Crowson (DJ Cro)
DJ

Cro is one of the most respected members of the Birmingham Hip Hop scene. As well as running regular "Autumn" events at the Medicine Bar, Rich also has his own show on New Style Radio. Rich is an experienced musical facilitator.

Mark Murphy

Born in Birmingham, graduated from UWE where he studied Art In a Social Context. Founder member of the Surely UK arts collective, he is also a musician and now works as a graphic designer in Birmingham.

Josie Bourne
Photographer

After completing her MA in photography at Leicester University Josie has been splitting her time between her University teaching commitments and her work as a photographer within a community arts context. Her work has been widely exhibited and used in publications.


Kristin Lyseggen
Photographer

Kristin is a Norwegian born photojournalist based in Birmingham. Recently she has completed a number of photo documentaries in Britain, Norway, Thailand and Slovakia, including an in depth study of Jesus Army and the transvestites in the Midlands.

Martin is currently finishing a PhD in Social Investment at Birmingham University.

Caroline Smith
Administration Assistant

Originally from North Manchester, Caroline relocated to study English Literatute at Birmingham University. Caroline has a keen interest in all aspects of the arts, and a particular passion for music promotion.
